Baba Yaga

Baba Yaga was adapted and devised based off the Russian folktale, about a witch whose house can run on legs through the woods to capture her prey. With a feminist twist, this adaptation followed the life of Ilissa whose confining and colourless life was never enough. Told through movement and a hauntingly beautiful original score by Joshua Ward, Ilissa rejects the society she lives in in brave search for a life of freedom.
